What happens during an in-studio session?

How should I arrive? Should I wear makeup?
To properly analyze your true colors, we need a blank canvas. Please arrive with a clean face and no makeup so we can accurately read your natural undertones. If you are coming from work or an event, we have gentle makeup remover available in the studio. Once your palette is identified, we will review the specific makeup shades that complement your biology.
Why not just use an online filter, AI, or digital quiz?
Digital filters guess; we measure. Screens drastically distort undertones, lighting alters color depth, and phone cameras automatically color-correct your skin. Live, professional draping is the only way to observe how different fabrics physically reflect light onto your complexion in real-time. We also often have confirmation bias for our own coloring and what we think we are (I know I did even for myself before training!)
What if my palette doesn't match my current style?
We never put you in a box; we give you a framework. Seasonal palettes contain dozens of shades, from deep neutrals to vibrant accents, allowing for immense flexibility. Our goal isn't to limit what you wear, but to show you the best versions of the colors you love. Most clients discover that their new palette includes old favorites, while introducing them to stunning new shades they previously would have ignored.
